As the Special Fund is kept distinct from the General Revenue of the Colony,
and is independent of the Council Audit,
conceprally not subjected to any beyond the inspection of these half-yearly returns in this office, I submit a further return for the half year of 1872.
In the return for the last half of 1872, though dated 12th July, interest in the deposit account is only credited for half-years, for the current account to the end of the month of the half year:
